ITF-Portal
Web-based Results Reporting & Physician Order Entry Interface
Halfpenny's ITF-Portal is a web-based order entry and results reporting system that leverages the latest in web technology. ITF Portal achieves an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface that provides a rich set of order entry and results reporting capabilities. Google-like search capability, extensive support for PDF reports, streamlined single page order entry, and one click test selection are among the many features that simplify the training and reduce the support needed to successfully deploy ITF-Portal.
The core design of ITF-Portal allows for significantly shorter implementation timeframes when compared to other older portal systems on the market that have rigid "grid" or "frame" user interfaces. Also, many of these legacy portals have dozens of features that are demonstrated in the sales process but never accessed by an actual user. Halfpenny has elected to streamline and focus the functionality of ITF-Portal on simple, intuitive order entry and results reporting.
ITF-Portal is a key extension to Halfpenny's HIE Solutions family. ITF-CDR, ITF-Hub, ITF-EMR, and ITF-SecureConnect provide extensive support for connectivity to physician office EMR systems. ITF-Portal functionality can be utilized to supplement the variation in capabilities across EMR systems. In conjunction with ITF-Hub and ITF-EMR, ITF-Portal can facilitate interoperability between EMR systems that are still years away from full support of clinical data exchange.
ITF-Portal delivers rapid search and retrieval of a variety of clinical report types including: laboratory, microbiology, anatomic pathology, surgical pathology, blood bank, emergency department, radiology, cardiology, and discharge summaries. Built on Halfpenny's ITF-CDR clinical data repository, ITF-Portal provides a consistent view of clinical data received in various formats including: HL7, PDF, XML, image formats, ASCII, and electronic print captures.
